I didn’t know I was a maker until I had a baby. Being pregnant seemed to open something creative inside me and I became obsessed with art. In 2001 my excellent mother convinced me to make a quilt with her. I was completely captivated and immediately obsessed. Once I realized I could make anything I wanted with fabric I started designing my own pieces.

Inspiration comes from everywhere; my quilts don’t really seem to fit into any one category easily. I’m constantly striving to be better, do better, and I always try to put positive energy into what I’m making.
